Welcome

The IS Insights web site is intended primarily as an educational tool to help students learn about information systems and some of the exciting new possibilities presented by these systems. Established and maintained by Brent Furneaux, it also provides forums for the exchange of ideas and research related to information systems. The links at right provide convenient access to the tools and forums hosted on the site. Links to additional information about the site administrator and his research are also available.

Some of the resources available include:

• An information systems wiki that supplements course materials to reflect recent information systems research
• A database of course materials that is made available to all current and former students. Material in this database is routinely updated to reflect new knowledge and the current state of practice in the field of information systems
• A blog that permits interactive and ongoing dialog with students and other interested individuals
• A demonstration customer relationship management (CRM) system intended for instructional purposes
• Access to online surveys that are being used to explore current research questions
